Scholar's brush-washer. The glaze is a rich lustrous red with a slight orange peel effect to the touch. There is some cracking due to the age both inside and out. This is most visible when viewing the underglaze blue reign mark. Often times these come with an incised decoration just beneath the glaze showing 3 roundels of dragon motif. In my archives I have an example which I will add soon to show it in detail.
