This is just one example of how the use of graphics
can aid in doing research, in this case showing two supposedly rare Yuan
dynasty blue and white stem cups with carved decoration as instead
coming from the same mold. As mentioned earlier, the press-mold technique
was used during that time, but it seems odd one dealer would have two such
pieces from the same mold and not be willing to stand by them passing the
TL test. What I really question the most though, is the different shades
of cobalt between the interior and the exterior decoration on stem cup number
2.
