As you can see on the reign mark to the left, the first two characters (Ta Qing) are omitted. Mostly seen on export and non-Imperial ware, but occasionally on Imperial. |

Though some more common than others, all arrangements here are known to have been used during both the Ming and Qing dynasties. |

Please note that the reign marks of the first two Ming emperors, Hongwu and Yongle are for the most part non-existent, or at least have yet to be authenticated. Of the few known to exist, they are in question as to their authenticity. This is not to say that they don't exist. |
